Have you ever looked at a logo design and wondered what the company does? Sometimes, this is by design. Icon logos represent the company and take on a life of their own. When you see the bitten apple or the Snapchat ghost, you instantly know the company.
But for a startup or new small business, building that brand equity needed can take time. These companies need their business name and have their logo design help tell their story. This, as I sure you already know, is much harder than it seems. But if done correctly, a simple logo can accomplish this goal.

Typography Logo Design Epic Fail Examples
Each example above uses a simple, typography logo mixed with an understated element that showcases what makes the company special. Creating these simple designs may not be right for the DIY business owner. These designs look “easy”, but without the right spacing, coloring, weighting, and overall design, these can fall flat fast.
